Manchester City are among a big list of clubs showing interest in Hamburg winger Tatsuya Ito, reports in the Japanese press claim.
The 20-year-old, capable of playing on both flanks, has broken into the Hamburg first team this season after previously playing for their reserve side in Regionalliga Nord, and is showing good potential.
This has a number of clubs keen on him, with Man City, Inter Milan, Benfica, Torino, Schalke 04, Eintracht Frankfurst, Wolfsburg, PSV and Red Bull Salzburg making up an exhaustive list of suitors.
The Japanese youth international would be unlikely to gain a work permit should he move to the Etihad, and would instead perhaps be dispatched to a partner club such as NAC Breda or Girona FC.
Hamburg signed Ito from J. League side Kashiwa Reysol in 2013 and still hope to hold on to him, but with such widespread interest have a fight on their hands.
